Privacy Policy

Effective August 19, 2026 · Last updated August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Saving Face Skinspa Inc., a Washington corporation, doing business as Introverted Esthi and The Wendy Way, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with Skin Evolution Suite (the “Service”), available at skinevolutionsuite.com. It works together with our Terms of Service.

A note on roles. There are two kinds of people whose information may be involved:

  • Subscribers — the estheticians and businesses who create accounts. This policy describes how we handle your information.
  • Clients — the individuals whose skin photos a Subscriber analyzes. We handle that “Client Content” on the Subscriber’s behalf. If you are a Client with questions about your photos or records, please contact the esthetician or business you worked with.

Our privacy commitment

We never sell your information or your clients’ information, and we never share it for anyone else’s marketing or purposes. Your account, your clients, and the photos you upload stay private within your account. The only third parties that ever process this information are the infrastructure providers that run the Service on our behalf — for payments, login, storage, AI analysis, and hosting — listed in Section 4. They act only on our instructions to operate the app, not for their own purposes.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and profile information. When you sign up, our authentication provider collects your name and email address (your email is your login) and manages your password. We may also store business and branding details you add (business name, contact info, logo).

1.2 Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment details; we do not store full card numbers. We receive limited billing information such as your plan, subscription status, the last four digits and card brand, and billing history.

1.3 Client Content. When you use the Service, you may upload or capture photographs of your clients’ skin and related notes, and the Service generates skin-analysis scores, summaries, and comparisons. Photos are not stored until you save them to a Case File; once saved, this Client Content is stored in your account. We process Client Content on your behalf to provide the Service.

1.4 Usage and technical information. We and our providers automatically collect basic technical data needed to run and secure the Service, such as log data, device/browser type, and general activity within the app.

1.5 Cookies. We use essential cookies required for login and security. We do not use the Service to build advertising profiles.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including analysis, Case Files, and comparisons;
  • Process subscriptions, seats, trials, and payments, and calculate applicable taxes;
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your information or your clients’ information, and we do not use Client Content for advertising.

3. Artificial Intelligence Processing

To generate skin-analysis results, photos and related inputs you submit are sent to our AI model provider (Anthropic) for processing and returned to you as scores and summaries. We do not use Client Content to train our own models, and we do not permit our AI provider to use your submissions to train its models except as allowed by our agreement with them. AI output is an automated estimate and is described further in our Terms of Service.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers (subprocessors) who process data on our behalf, including: Stripe (payments), our authentication provider (Clerk) (accounts/login), our database provider (Airtable) (data storage), our AI provider (Anthropic) (analysis), and our hosting provider (Netlify).
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share Client Content except with the providers above to deliver the Service to you.

5. Consumer Health Data (Washington My Health My Data Act)

Skin-condition information may be considered “consumer health data” under Washington’s My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) and similar laws. Where these laws apply:

  • Client Content is collected and used only to provide the Service at the direction of the Subscriber, and is not sold or used for advertising.
  • Subscribers are responsible for obtaining any consent required from their clients before collecting or uploading Client Content (see our Terms of Service, Section 7).
  • Individuals with questions about consumer health data may contact us using the information below, and Clients may also contact the Subscriber who collected their data.

This section addresses laws with strict, specific requirements. Have it reviewed by an attorney, who may recommend a dedicated Consumer Health Data Privacy notice and consent/authorization language.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and Client Content for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you delete it or ask us to. You control your own content: deleting a photo, entry, or client in the app is permanent and cannot be undone. When your account is closed, we may delete your data in the ordinary course, subject to legal and operational requirements. It is your responsibility to keep any records you are required to retain.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, and rely on established providers (such as Stripe, Clerk, Airtable, and Netlify), to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access, update, or delete your account information and content within the app, or by contacting us.
  • Cancel your subscription at any time (see the Terms of Service).
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing). To exercise them, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
  • Clients: because we process Client Content on the Subscriber’s behalf, requests about a Client’s photos or records should be directed to the esthetician or business that collected them; we will support that provider in responding.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for licensed professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Subscribers must not upload content depicting minors (see the Terms of Service).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
